Methodology: Kinetic interaction of microparticles in solution (KIMS)

Specimen Requirements:
1 plain, red-top (no additive) tube (minimum: 1.0 mL of serum) drawn 15 minutes prior to dose (I.V. or oral) for trough level. A trough level is most appropriate for evaluation of efficacy. For evaluation of side effects, a peak sample may be more appropriate. Draw peak 2 hours post IV dose, 4 hours post IM dose, or 6-8 hrs post oral dose.
