Shelby Stevenson completed her undergraduate studies in biology, medical technology, and nursing at Clarion and Edinboro Universities (now
PennWest). She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in nursing education and family nurse practitioner, through
Capella and
Maryville Universities.
