Garrett Britton, DO

Dr. Garrett Britton is an internist and intensivist with Perioperative Services of Meadville. A native of Townville, Pennsylvania, he is a veteran of the U.S. Army and completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology with the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville and Johnstown campuses. After his fellowship at Walter Reed, he was a staff intensivist at the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research (Fort Sam, Houston, Texas) burn center, Guam Memorial Hospital Authority (Tamuning, Guam), and Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (Fort Campbell, Kentucky).   Dr. Britton has worked extensively in burn units and has served on various committees regarding the specialty as well as those serving as mentorship programs for medical students. He also holds certifications in cardiac, neurologic, and trauma life support as well as combat casualty care, and is a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
