Meadville Medical Center, or officially, Meadville Medical Center Health System, is not only your community’s independent health system, but it is also a community partner, a community resource, and a committed driver of economic vibrancy. The health system currently employs 2,000 individuals with an overall payroll of nearly $150 million.
In 2020, MMC made a regional economic impact of well over $500 million and provided much needed financial support to local businesses throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a community partner, Meadville Medical Center supports countless nonprofits, civic groups, and community initiatives and is a significant resource for creating and maintaining a robust infrastructure to enhance healthy lifestyles in Crawford County. High-quality, affordable healthcare is the primary focus of the health system. In doing so, while winning awards for quality and care, the health system continues to be a low-cost provider in the region, while also providing more than $10 million each year in free care whether through unpaid bills or community benefit.
Investment in Our Communities
Meadville Medical Center Health System is more than a hospital. We are dedicated to serving our communities with care and devotion, and know that our overall success depends upon not only what happens within our facilities but outside of them as well.
Award-Winning Care at Meadville Medical Center
